Fused silica is a type of glass that has been synthesized from pure silicon dioxide (SiO2) and is known for its exceptional transparency, high thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and excellent optical properties. These wafers are used in various industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, optics, and electronics, as a critical component in the production of microelectronics, photonic devices, and optical coatings.
