Among them, the qPCR method has become the preferred detection method for process research and product quality control of biological products because of its high sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and durability.
Residual host cell DNA in biological preparations (recombinant protein drugs, antibody drugs, vaccines, cell therapy products, etc.) may pose infectious or tumorigenic risks, and it is necessary to control the residual DNA of host cells to an acceptable level. Host cell residual DNA testing can ensure that biological preparations meet the requirements of regulatory agencies such as China, WHO, Europe, and the United States. This method has the characteristics of rapidity, high throughput, and high sensitivity.
