A Li-ion E-Bike is an electric bicycle that uses a lithium-ion battery as the power source. A lithium-ion battery is a type of rechargeable battery that has a high energy density, long cycle life, and fast charging capability. A Li-ion E-Bike can have different types of propulsion systems, such as pedal assist, speed pedelec, or throttle assist. A pedal assist system provides electric power only when the rider pedals, while a speed pedelec system provides electric power up to a certain speed limit. A throttle assist system allows the rider to control the electric power with a handlebar-mounted throttle.
