A single-state relay (Single-state Relay) is a special relay that is characterized by only one stable state and can be flipped to another state by a trigger signal. This type of relay is often used to control switching actions in electrical circuits.
Monostable relays usually consist of a latching relay and a driver. When the driver receives a trigger signal, it energizes the latching relay to flip it from its initial state to another. When the latching relay reaches another state, it stays in that state and doesn't flip back until the driver receives a trigger signal again.
