Synopsis
Non-phosgene polycarbonate, also known as direct transesterification polycarbonate, is a method used to produce polycarbonate (PC). Traditional polycarbonate production uses phosgene as a reaction raw material, but phosgene is a toxic and harmful gas that poses environmental and worker safety risks. To reduce these risks, direct transesterification polycarbonates were developed. In this method, the transesterification reaction is directly used in the synthesis of polycarbonate, avoiding the use of phosgene. The production process includes preparation of raw materials, transesterification reaction, dehydration reaction and post-treatment, and finally obtains high-performance polycarbonate products. This method is widely used in the polycarbonate industry, which not only reduces environmental risks, but also improves the safety and efficiency of production.
