Regenerative thermal oxidizers are generally considered to be very energy efficient. It uses the internal heat storage material to recover and reuse a large amount of heat energy generated during the high temperature oxidation reaction, thus reducing the operating cost and energy consumption of the equipment, making the regenerative thermal oxidation furnace popular in the market. The regenerative thermal oxidation furnace body is composed of a heat storage tank and an oxidation tank. The heat storage tank is filled with high temperature resistant heat storage ceramics, which can store the energy released by the cooling of the high temperature flue gas for preheating the inlet exhaust gas. The process exhaust gas containing polluting components enters the inlet heat storage tank through the switching damper, enters the oxidation tank after being preheated, and rapidly decomposes into CO2 and H2O at high temperature, and releases a large amount of heat energy. When the purified high-temperature flue gas flows through another bed outlet heat storage tank, heat energy is stored in the heat storage ceramics. In the next airflow cycle, the switching valve controls the airflow to flow in reverse, and the heat-stored tank serves as the inlet port to preheat the exhaust gas. By switching the damper valve group to regularly switch the process waste gas inlet, purge and discharge process, the flow direction of the process waste gas entering the furnace body is changed, and the waste gas completes preheating, oxidation heat release, heat storage and discharge in sequence in the furnace body to realize energy storage. , Release cycle. The heat storage process enables the heat energy released by oxidation to be reused, saving the fuel consumed for preheating the exhaust gas.
The regenerative thermal oxidation furnace has the characteristics of high thermal efficiency, reliable operation, and the ability to treat medium and low concentration waste gas. The principle is to heat the organic waste gas to above 760°C, so that the organic matter in the waste gas is oxidized and decomposed into CO2 and H2O in the oxidation chamber.
