Seismic Instantaneous Electric Detonator is an initiator system of explosive charge that can convert an electric impulse into a detonation. The special configuration of the metallic filament used to manufacture the Seismic Electric Detonator results in low resistance which assures effective high initiation energy. Electric Detonators Consist of an Aluminum tube closed at one end and to the other end are attached the lead wires. These detonators have a specially developed fusehead designed to go off within one milli-second of the current application. The fuse head is protected by a special anti-static sleeve.
