Synopsis
The shingled module cuts the conventional cells into 5 or 6 cells according to the number of main grids, arranges each cell in a superimposed manner, connects the cells into a series with conductive glue, and laminates them into modules after series-parallel layout. Compared with conventional modules, the theoretical power of shingles can be significantly improved. The higher the battery efficiency, the more shingled gain. The increase in power of shingled modules mainly comes from the increase in the number of blank cells in the package, and secondly from the reduction in current consumption caused by the elimination of solder ribbons and the reduction of battery slices.
